Anthem update news, DLC, tips, patch notes and more

Anthem, BioWare & apos; The cooperative, team-based shooter is a change of pace for the makers of Dragon Age and Mass Effect. With a focus on cooperative PvE battles popularized by Destiny's will, it landed amid a whirl of hype and expectation that it has not yet met.

Anthem has a big challenge for this – with arguments that the content of the endgame is weak, the plunder system broke down and the story is not quite right compared to previous storyline-driven BioWare-RPG ' s fighting for the hearts reclaim those who initially feared the promise.

With EA as a background and BioWare & apos; s heritage in the heart, there is still hope that Anthem will be exchanged. It is nevertheless touted as a "living" game – a game that will evolve over time to keep its fans in love long after the launch – and people like colossi like Destiny and Fortnite have all made rugged introductions before they game juggernauts.

So what & apos; s the latest Anthem news? When & apos; s the next update? And what does the future mean for Anthem? Read on for everything you need to know about the Iron Man simulator.

As we said in our full Anthem review:

"It's a game of oxymorons and inconsistencies. The story is designed to be single player, but the game is clearly not. The gameplay is an absolute pleasure, but is suppressed by the repetitive nature of the endgame. Sublime, but most characters themselves are cliché and predictable.

"Anthem is a fun game and a stunningly beautiful game, but with flaws in almost every other aspect of the design, it will improve with patches, updates and a strong community, but it is not a particularly strong foundation. Less a national anthem, and more a nasty earworm … "

Anthem update news and Anthem patch notes

  • What's new? A server-side update will see an increase in legendary outer drops.

One of the most important complaints (bugs, even) regarding Anthem is the quality of its loot. It is all but proven stub, since the game scales the power of a player over the course of the game. A small update on March 15, 2019 was intended to do something about it.

"In the latest server update, we made remarkable changes to the outside printing speed in certain scenarios that take effect immediately in a server-side tuning update," the team said on the publisher's EA website.

"These changes include: Masterwork & Legendary drop rates have been increased for Grandmaster 2 and Grandmaster 3 difficulty levels, and Masterwork & Legendary drop rates have been increased for harder enemies at all difficulty levels.

This includes: the legendary Ancient Ash Titan, Elite Ancient Ash Titan, Legendary Fury, Legendary Ursix and Legendary Luminary. "

It is a positive early update of the team, as it begins to collect problems that uncover the core fans of the game. And it turns out to be a more positive picture than having to figure out how some consoles can stop crashing when playing the digital version of Anthem – a harrowing early bug that the developers rushed into squashing.

Anthem is a complex game. With four manageable classes, a lot of booty to discover and a big world to explore, it can be daunting for a newcomer and difficult to even master a player for the long term.

Anthem DLC – what's next?

Anthem is an ongoing project at EA and BioWare, a game that both companies expect to support for many years, with a player base that will grow and evolve along with the game.

How do both teams hope to achieve this? By regular content drops, that is anyway. As shown above, EA and BioWare have the ' ongoing narrative of Anthem ' already mapped, with updates already delayed until May 2019.

This first "Act" is called "Echoes of Eternity", and in March 2019 the "Evolving World" chapter, the "Stronger Together" chapter in April 2019, and the ominous "Cataclysm" chapter in May 2019.

Evolving World will concentrate on battles with giant bosses such as Titans of War, Ruin, Bane and Havoc in freeplay mode, as well as new Legendary missions and a Scar Infestation freeplay event.

Stronger Together will expand the endgame with a new Mastery system for skill tree progression, as well as a host of new freeplay events, more legendary missions, a new Stronghold called "The Sunken" (which will have its own weekly challenge) and the introduction of scoreboards and guilds.

As for the Catyclysm, little is known at this time beyond the promise of new freeplay events, missions and new items. We will probably find out more as the year continues.

But what about paid DLC? EA has not yet announced the medium to long-term plans for Anthem. We expect it to follow the same path as Destiny, which had added a continuous supply of small improvements and functions, alternating with larger paid DLC packages, for a possible follow-up.

That is, of course, if Anthem can prove his stamina … Here & # 025; s hopes – there & apos; It's a jewel in the heart of Anthem, waiting to be dug out. We hope that someday we will play Anthem at its strongest.
