Cyberpunk 2077 is already looking to be one of the largest video game publications of the past decade. With a gigantic metropolis to explore and dynamic game systems, most of us can only dream of understanding, the next franchise from The Witcher dev could define games for the medium as a whole – and it looks like we'll get three of them.
The Polish website Bankier.pl, which reports on the business and financial sectors, reported on 1 July a statement from CD Projekt President, Adam Kiciński, confirming that there are currently three separate Cyberpunk projects under development (via IGN).

The first of these is of course Cyberpunk 2077, an AAA game for one player based on the popular board game, which will start in April 2020.
There is apparently a secondary team working on a multiplayer mode, but whether the mode is included in the main offering or purchased separately must still be confirmed.
We have already seen Bethesda notable failures in his stand-alone version of Fallout 76 – originally intended as a multiplayer mode for Fallout 4, and was not fully worked out to justify a full price tag. So we hope that Cyberpunk Online, Hackerz, or whatever the multiplayer component is called, will end up in the main title.
But Vice President Piotr Nielubowicz also confirmed that another AAA game was in the making, which sounds very much like a continuation of the mainline game: "Our next major project will also be in the & apos; cyberpunk & apos; universe and we are already working on it and treat it as a really big and innovative project for us. "
Given the hype around Cyberpunk 2077, and the apparent confidence of CD Projekt RED in the franchise, we are not entirely surprised – although it remains to be seen how they intend to get bigger and better.
It seems that we will receive our next major revelation of the content and systems of the main line games early next year, with Kiciński saying, "Early next year, when the preview appears, a strong dose should be expected."
With an extra prequel board game coming up, it is clear that CD Projekt RED is planning to expand the franchise as much as possible.
