Have you scored all the stuff from this giant Amazon Prime Blooper? Need to know how to use it?

Amazon Prime Blooper

This week, people flocked to Amazon for a number of annual Prime Day deals.

But a select few got something more than they expected:

Equipment that normally costs thousands of dollars …

… for sale for just $ 94.50 USD.

It all started when an attentive Amazon shopper saw that a Sony a6000 bundle was for sale for $ 94.50. They shared this bargain on Slickdeals, and other photographers immediately began to notice.

Slickdeals users race to grab the bargain, but it soon became clear that the Sony a6000 bundle was not the only thing that was for sale.

Consider the Canon 800 mm f / 5.6 L, which normally comes for $ 13,000 USD. An Amazon customer has reportedly been able to raise it for just $ 94.50 USD.

The same story applies to a number of other camera functions: the Fujifilm X100F, the Sony a7III and the Canon EOS R, which normally go for more than $ 1000 USD, all with a price of up to $ 94.50.

This was an error from Amazon. First, it is highly unlikely that they would offer these items at such ridiculously low prices. And the deals were not seen by all customers; only some people could view the bargain prices.

Many have claimed that Amazon will cancel orders for these products. And this can make sense – were it not for the fact that many items have already been shipped. Some customers have even received their items.

(Although it remains to be seen whether Amazon will accept the price drop for repeat orders.)

Unfortunately, this deal-of-your-life is long gone. And only a few Amazon customers managed to get professional equipment for less than a hundred dollars.

Were you one of them?

And even if you were unable to lock up one of these casual bargains, did you have new photo equipment for Prime Day? Let me know in the comments!

Also for those who have received some exciting new photography shares, I would like to reflect on our course, which is only open for a limited time:
