    Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro with quad cameras ' s launched in India


    The Realme 5 and the Realme 5 Pro are now officially in India and bring quad cameras & large batteries to the masses. Here is everything you need to know about them.

    Realme is the fastest growing smartphone brand in India, with just over 10 million sales in just over a year since they were launched in May. A floor price, as well as innovations in the budget segment, have helped Realme to stay afloat in the difficult Indian market. This year Realme strives to bring the setup of a quad camera into its entire setup, starting with the Realme 5 series.

    Realme 5 Pro specifications

    The Realme 5 Pro is the new flagship and brings the highly capable 10nm Snapdragon 712 AIE together with a maximum of 8 GB RAM. The storage will also be upgraded to UFS 2.1 for higher read and write speeds with microSD expansion. The front has a 6.3-inch IPS LCD screen with an FHD + resolution. The front camera is housed in a small notch on the water at the top.

    Speaking of camera ' s, the Realme 5 Pro has four camera ' s on the back, consisting of a 48MP f / 1.8 primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a field of view of 119 degrees, a 2MP macro lens with a focus of 4 cm distance and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait mode. The front camera is a 16MP shooter.

    The battery of the Realme 5 Pro has a capacity of 4,035 mAh and supports 20W VOOC 3.0 charging via USB Type-C, which is included in the box. Regarding color variations, we get Crystal Green and Sparkling Blue that look like glass but are polycarbonate.

    Realme 5 Pro prize in India

    In India, the Realme 5 Pro is available in three configurations. The basic 4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM version costs Rs 13,999, the 6 GB + 64 GB version Rs 14,999 and the top version with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage costs Rs 16,999. The sale starts on September 4.

    Realme 5 specifications

    The stage was shared by the Realme 5, a slightly lower specified smartphone but considerably cheaper. The processor in heart and soul is the new Snapdragon 665, making this the first phone in India that is powered by that silicon. That is accompanied by 3 or 4 GB RAM and expandable storage. It comes with a slightly larger 6.5-inch screen with an HD + resolution (1600 x 720). The company also said that the ' mini-drop ' notch at the top is one of the smallest on any smartphone.

    The Realme 5 retains the quad camera array similar to the 5 Pro, consisting of a 12MP f / 1.8 primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide shooter, a macro lens and a depth sensor. The only hardware difference is the primary camera with lower resolution. Selfies are handled by a 13MP front camera.

    Another first for the Realme 5 is the use of a 5000 mAh battery, the largest ever on a Realme device. Charging is not quick and the 10 W power supply is via micro USB. Color variants are Crystal Blue and Crystal Purple, again made from plastic.

    Realme 5 prize in India

    Three variants of the Realme 5 will be available in India, starting with the basic version with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage that is priced at R.999. The 4 GB + 64 GB version costs Rs 10.999 and the top 4 GB + 128 GB version costs INR 11.999. The first sale is scheduled for August 27.
